Hump Back Release 10-Year Anniversary Album 'Hump Back 2016-2026'
A decade has passed since Hump Back’s breakthrough — and the Osaka-based quartet is marking the occasion with a carefully curated retrospective that reimagines their journey through fresh ears.
Hump Back will release the album Hump Back 2016-2026 on December 7, 2026, celebrating ten years since their debut mini-album Yoru ni Nattara (When Night Falls) first hit stores in 2016. That release was their first to receive nationwide distribution, becoming a pivotal moment in the band’s career. The new album distills a decade of live staples and fan-favorite tracks into a single statement, all rearranged and re-recorded to capture where Hump Back stands today as musicians.

The announcement came during the opening night of their “HELLO ANEW TOUR 2026-2027” one-man tour at Zepp Osaka Bayside on November 1. Thirteen tracks will appear across two editions: a limited first-press with CD and Blu-ray (¥6,900), and a standard CD edition (¥3,600). Full track listings will be revealed later.
This recontextualization is exactly what a band needs at the ten-year mark — not a greatest hits in the traditional sense, but a reclamation of their own history through the lens of their current craft and maturity.

Beyond the album, Hump Back have also announced exclusive fan club shows. Members of their new fan club “Humpback Dojo Disciples” will gain access to two intimate performances at Shinsaibashi BRONZE on December 14–15, 2026 (tickets ¥5,000, doors at 6:30 PM, showtime 7:00 PM). Fanclub presale is already underway.
Pre-orders are live now at multiple retailers, each offering exclusive merchandise: Amazon carries mega-sized jackets, Rakuten Books offers A4 clear files, Tower Records stocks enamel pins, and HMV provides postcards, among others.
