VINYL unplugged & Shinjuku Shinon-kai Team for Spring Live
A rare collaborative performance is headed to Nagoya this April, bringing together two distinctive acts for an intimate evening of music. VINYL unplugged and Shinjuku Shinon-kai’s Itaya Yu will share the stage for “A Midspring Night’s Dream” — a two-man show designed with early Sunday departure times in mind for accessibility.
VINYL unplugged, the project of Fukui Yoshishi and Suzuki Shin, has carved out a niche for atmospheric, introspective soundscapes within the VK underground. Known for their layered guitar work and experimental approach to composition, the duo brings a meditative quality to their performances. Shinjuku Shinon-kai, led by vocalist and guitarist Itaya Yu, represents the more visceral end of the spectrum—delivering energetic, emotionally charged sets that showcase expressive vocal delivery and dynamic band chemistry.
This collaboration signals mutual respect between two artists working in distinctly different spaces. Each will perform a full 60-minute set, allowing for deep exploration of their respective catalogs without feeling rushed.
