G-FREAK FACTORY Books Historic Budokan Debut for 2027
After three decades of intense performances, G-FREAK FACTORY is finally stepping into one of Japan’s most prestigious venues. The band has announced their inaugural Nippon Budokan concert for April 28, 2027, marking a major milestone in their storied career.
G-FREAK FACTORY emerged from the Japanese underground rock scene in the mid-1990s, building a loyal fanbase through their dynamic live energy and distinctive sound that bridges alternative rock and theatrical performance aesthetics. While not strictly Visual Kei, the band shares the movement’s appreciation for dramatic presentation and sonic intensity that resonates deeply with VK audiences.
The Budokan show serves as the grand finale to a nationwide two-band tour with longtime allies 10-FEET, who will perform their own Budokan concert on April 27. Both bands celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2027, making the back-to-back “2 Budokan” dates (10-FREAK HISTORY 〜2本武道館〜) a fitting conclusion to their touring campaign.
Titled “G-FREAK FACTORY 30th Anniversary ONE-MAN LIVE ‘G-FREAK HISTORY’ 〜Nippon Budokan〜,” the concert runs from 5:30 PM doors / 6:30 PM start / 8:30 PM finish (provisional times). Standard reserved seats are priced at ¥8,888 (tax included), with family-friendly pricing available: ¥7,777 for high school children and ¥5,555 for elementary students. Children under elementary school age can attend free on a parent’s lap.
