FUR Unveil Dark New Visual & Announce Winter Live Series
FUR just delivered a birthday surprise that’s got the Visual Kei community buzzing. On October 15th, vocalist Cion’s birthday, the five-piece took the stage at SHIBUYA RING to debut a striking new visual direction that marks a significant aesthetic shift for the band.
Gone is the ornate glamour FUR has cultivated since their formation. In its place: a unified, darker energy. The band appeared cloaked in jet-black enamel outfits, posed against a blood-red moon—an image that immediately sparks curiosity about their winter mini-album LUNAFUR, set to drop later this year. If this is a preview of what’s coming, expectations are through the roof.

For Western fans still getting to know FUR, this Tokyo-based outfit has been quietly building momentum with an almost relentless touring schedule. Their first single GLOSS dropped in August, and they’ve already established a beloved recurring series called “LOUNGE”—intimate, themed events that showcase a more playful, experimental side of the band.
The band wasted no time announcing what’s next. December 14th will see FUR ViVi BIRTHDAY 黒服限定ONEMAN 【ViLLAiNS】 (an all-black-dress dress code event) at Shibuya Star Lounge. Fanclub members can access the fastest ticket draw through Ticket Dive, with general admission opening shortly after.

Beyond that, FUR’s beloved “LOUNGE” series returns with two installments at Nishi-Ogikubo BETTYROOM: November 13th’s LOUNGE #9 -BELATED UNDEAD- and December 26th’s LOUNGE #10 -X’MAS-, both with tiered ticket pricing and creative costume themes.
