DEZERT, D'ESPAIRSRAY, LM.C, MUCC Announce Joint Anniversary Live 2026
Four pillar bands of Japan’s Visual Kei underground are joining forces for a landmark anniversary celebration this October. DEZERT, D’ESPAIRSRAY, LM.C, and MUCC will headline a special double-anniversary live event commemorating 38 years of FM NACK5 radio and 28 years of its legendary Visual Kei program “BEAT SHUFFLE.”
For Western fans less familiar with these acts: DEZERT crafts darkly theatrical soundscapes with haunting vocals, D’ESPAIRSRAY brings chaotic energy and intricate musicianship, LM.C channels synth-driven rock with infectious hooks, and MUCC delivers brooding intensity anchored by frontman 逹瑯’s commanding presence. All four bands share BEAT SHUFFLE history, having appeared as regular artists on the program that’s become essential listening for dedicated Visual Kei enthusiasts.
The event—titled “Bifle à Gogo! 2026”—takes place October 24, 2026 at Omiya Sonic City in Saitama Prefecture. Doors open at 3 PM, show starts at 4 PM.
The real draw here? Two exclusive one-night-only collaboration sessions determined by public lottery draw during band members’ radio guest appearances. Session A features maya (LM.C) and 千秋 (DEZERT) on vocals, with ミヤ (MUCC) and Miyako (DEZERT) on guitars, YUKKE (MUCC) on bass, and TSUKASA (D’ESPAIRSRAY) on drums—performing a cover of 修二と彰’s “青春アミーゴ.” Session B pairs 逹瑯 (MUCC) and HIZUMI (D’ESPAIRSRAY) on vocals for TOKIO’s “LOVE YOU ONLY,” with an equally stacked lineup.
