DEVILOOF Release "我夢牢" MV Featuring Enterprise Earth
DEVILOOF has unveiled the music video for their latest single, “我夢牢” (Gamurō), marking a striking creative statement as the band’s first release under Universal Music. The track features guest vocals from Travis Worland of American deathcore outfit Enterprise Earth, adding an international edge to the Japanese act’s uncompromising sound.
Directed by cinematographer Kōkō Kondō, the video was filmed at Izu Gokurakuen, a theme park in Shizuoka celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The location itself carries historical weight—the park recreates Buddhist concepts of hell and paradise through detailed dioramas based on the 10th-century Buddhist text “Essentials of Birth in the Pure Land,” written by the monk Genshin in 985. This marks the first time the renowned venue has been used as a music video location.

The visual treatment amplifies the song’s disturbing atmosphere through a combination of practical effects and stop-motion animation. The production team incorporated the park’s existing dioramas and figurines, leveraging their inherent uncanniness and distorted, visceral movements to push the track’s warped, chaotic worldview to its limits. It’s an ambitious aesthetic choice that transforms a historical Buddhist monument into something nightmarish—exactly what DEVILOOF does best.
For fans eager to experience the band live, DEVILOOF has announced a headline show titled “獄楽” (Gokurakuen) at Shibuya Stream Hall in Tokyo on December 12, 2026. Doors open at 5:30 PM with the show starting at 6:15 PM. Advance tickets are priced at ¥3,000, with day-of admission at ¥4,000.
