BUCK∞TICK Share "Sonzai Riyuu Kai" Single Artwork, Anime Tie-In
BUCK∞TICK is gearing up for a major release this November with their upcoming single “Sonzai Riyuu Kai” (Reason for Existence -Revised-), and the band has just unveiled the striking jacket artwork for both standard and limited editions.
For those unfamiliar, BUCK∞TICK stands as one of Visual Kei’s most enduring and influential acts. Since their formation in the late 1980s, they’ve remained a cornerstone of the movement, blending gothic aesthetics, provocative imagery, and intricate rock compositions that continue to captivate audiences worldwide. The band shows no signs of slowing down, with this new single marking another significant milestone.
The title track serves as the opening theme for the original anime “DARK MACHINE THE ANIMATION,” which premieres on Fuji Television in October 2026. Longtime collaborator and art director Akita Kazunori—who has worked with the band for years—designed both jacket variations, featuring the members’ latest visuals and capturing the anime’s dark world perfectly.
The B-side, “April Fool wa Tengoku no Gate” (April Fool is Heaven’s Gate), was written and composed by vocalist Inoue Hisashi, offering fans another taste of the band’s creative depth.
