ACME Unveil

ACME Unveil "SUPER HERO" Single & Launch October Release Blitz

If you’ve been following ACME’s trajectory through 2026, you already know the Tokyo outfit isn’t slowing down—and their second single of the year just dropped a manifesto disguised as a power anthem.

ACME has built a reputation for sonic restlessness, and “SUPER HERO” proves they’re not interested in repeating themselves. Set for release on October 21st, this 22nd single arrives while the dust from their recent 9th anniversary tour single “STARSTRUCK” is still settling. The band isn’t taking a breath between moments; they’re channeling that momentum into something messier, more defiant, and ultimately more vital.

Lyrically grounded in the defiant premise that you don’t need superpowers to save someone, “SUPER HERO” weaves together loud rock aesthetics, metal aggression, reggae grooves, jungle breaks, and breakbeat percussion into something genuinely unclassifiable. It shouldn’t work—these genres occupy different galaxies—yet ACME binds them into a coherent, infectious surge of optimism dressed up in distortion and bassweight.

Vocalist CHISA leads a lineup completed by guitarist 将吾, bassist RIKITO, and drummer HAL (who also penned the lyrics). The track’s thesis is disarmingly simple: no matter how the world shakes, we sing, we rise, we amplify our voices alongside our crew to reshape tomorrow. This isn’t cerebral Visual Kei—it’s visceral, immediate, and designed to make floors move.

The band is supporting the release with two live events: a release party on October 21st at MUSIC Bar LIVEHOLIC in Shimokitazawa (¥3,500 including two drinks), followed by a dedicated showcase on November 26th at Betty Room in Nishi-Ogikubo (¥5,000, drinks separate).
