On September 22nd at Yokohama Bay Hall, the band hosted the second installment of their annual “THE UNITED KILLERS” event, bringing fellow heavyweights DEZERT along for a two-band assault that proved why these acts remain essential voices in contemporary Japanese metal.
The evening began with DEZERT, fresh off releasing new tracks “Welcome To The End” and “TOXIC.” Vocalist Senshuu immediately commanded the room with a promise: “We’re here to burn our souls for you.” The band tore through their setlist with surgical precision, balancing gut-punch heaviness with melodic hooks that cut deep. New material sat confidently alongside staples like “君の子宮を触る” (remixed with heartfelt lyrical tweaks), while standouts like “セイオン” and “MONSTER” showcased the kind of light-and-dark duality that makes DEZERT’s 15-year legacy undeniable.
