Fatüm Announces "Vox Dei II" Showcase & Venue-Exclusive Album
Fatüm’s second Demonstration Showcase is almost here, and the magia-infused gothic unit has one more reason to get your tickets: a brand-new album will debut exclusively at the venue.
For those unfamiliar, Fatüm is the collaborative project of SUI and HIDE-ZOU, merging gothic aesthetics with folkloric and Celtic influences. Since their inception, each showcase has deepened their sonic identity, building a devoted following among Visual Kei fans drawn to their atmospheric, genre-blending approach. Their debut CD “Canary” dropped in June, establishing the template for their distinctive world—now they’re ready to evolve it.
The new release, “永夜の幻想花” (Perpetual Night’s Phantom Flower), takes the Celtic-tinged sound of their debut and refines it further. According to the announcement, this follow-up showcases a fresh take on the folkloric elements that define Fatüm’s aesthetic. The fact that it’s being released only at the venue makes September 13th essential for collectors and hardcore fans.
The showcase takes place at EDGE Ikebukuro on Sunday, September 13th, with doors opening at 17:00 and the show starting at 17:30 (expected to wrap by 19:00). Ticket pricing reflects the production scale: VIP tickets are ¥11,000, advance general admission is ¥5,500, and day-of tickets are ¥6,000 (all before delivery fees).
Support comes from impressive names too—bassist MASASHI of Versailles and drummer 響 of 摩天楼オペラ will back the performance, lending additional star power to what promises to be a memorable evening.
Tickets went on sale July 5th through Vox Store and remain available now. Given the venue-exclusive album release and the band’s growing momentum, this showcase will likely draw serious crowds.
