ABC vs Janne Respect Cover 2man Live Announces Final Show
The star-studded tribute project ABC vs Janne is coming to an end—but not before one massive final celebration. Following the massive success of last year’s Zepp Shinjuku show, organizers have announced “The FINAL,” a culminating performance set for January 11, 2027, at Spotify O-EAST in Tokyo.
For those unfamiliar with the concept, ABC vs Janne—subtitled “Respect Cover 2man Live”—is a unique tribute initiative that brings together musicians from across the Visual Kei scene to celebrate the legendary legacy of Janne Da Arc and the broader Visual Kei movement. The project pairs members from both established and underground acts in two competing “respect bands,” each tackling cover arrangements that reimagine classic Visual Kei material with fresh energy and perspective. It’s the kind of collaborative event that only thrives in Japan’s tight-knit alternative music community.
The January show will be headlined by an impressive roster. The Janne Da Arc Respect Band features vocalist 夕霧 (DaizyStripper, SUN PROPOZE), I’LL (FEST VAINQUEUR) on guitar, 七星 (R指定) on bass, 彩雨 (摩天楼オペラ) on keyboards, and Tohya (vistlip) on drums. The ABC Respect Band counters with HAL (FEST VAINQUEUR) as vocalist, 凛人 (哀と凛人の無所属) and マヤママユ (DaizyStripper, the god and death stars) on guitar, 燿 (摩天楼オペラ) on bass, and 遠海准司 (己龍) on drums.
Tickets are priced at ¥5,800 plus fees. The fastest advance pre-sale opens September 13 at 3:00 PM (Japan time) via e+, with general advance sales beginning October 10. General public sales kick off November 22.
Doors open at 4:15 PM with the show starting at 5:00 PM.
