Sadie Return with "Flower of Evil," Announce September Release

After a period of recalibration, Sadie is stepping into a bold new chapter. The five-piece Visual Kei act will unleash their latest single, “Flower of Evil” (悪の花), on September 23rd, 2026—and based on early details, this one marks a significant creative turning point for the band.

“Flower of Evil” embodies the collision of Sadie’s accumulated sonic identity with a refreshed energy born from the full lineup’s reunion. The title itself speaks volumes: a metaphor for worlds where beauty and madness, light and shadow, writhe together in complex harmony. Lyrically and sonically, the track channels that duality through seductive yet intricate melodies paired with weighty, aggressive instrumentation—a signature Sadie formula refined for where the band stands now.

The core message is one of forward momentum tempered by legacy. Sadie refuses to be anchored by their past, yet they’re not erasing it either. “Flower of Evil” crystallizes that philosophy into sound, positioning itself as essential listening for anyone tracking the band’s narrative evolution.

The single arrives in two editions. The deluxe version (¥3,500 / TMZR-1045) includes three tracks—”Flower of Evil,” “Children of Despair,” and “Sayonara no Hate”—plus an M-card with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, the official music video, and a 16-page digital visual book. The standard edition (¥2,000 / TMZR-1046) contains two tracks with the MV on the M-card. Both include member trading cards.

Sadie will support the release with a packed calendar of in-store events and meet-and-greets across Tokyo from September 12th through October 25th, hitting Tower Records Shinjuku and Ikebukuro, littleHEARTS Tokyo, and dedicated venue dates. Sign-ups and venue details are live now.

For Western fans, this is your moment to catch up on one of Japan’s most theatrically compelling acts as they announce their rebirth. Check Sadie’s official channels and Japanese music retailers for import options and streaming details.
