新しい学校のリーダーズ Launch Airport Campaign Videos
Japan’s self-proclaimed “youth representatives” 新しい学校のリーダーズ are taking over Kansai International Airport this summer as ambassadors for a vibrant seasonal campaign that perfectly mirrors their global ambitions.
For those unfamiliar with the group: 新しい学校のリーダーズ are a seven-member collective known for their high-octane live performances and self-choreographed routines. Since their 2021 world debut via 88rising, they’ve become a genuine international phenomenon—their signature track “オトナブルー” has accumulated 3.3 billion TikTok plays, and they’ve toured 33 cities worldwide, drawing over 110,000 fans. They’ve performed at Coachella, appeared on Japan’s NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen New Year’s broadcast, and are rapidly expanding their reach across the globe.
The “NEW KIX MATSURI” campaign runs through August 24 at Kansai International Airport’s Terminal 1 International Departure area. As part of the “GO GLOBAL Project”—an initiative designed to encourage young people to pursue overseas opportunities in travel, study, culture, and the arts—新しい学校のリーダーズ embody the campaign’s core message: “from the airport to the world.”
Four specially filmed videos showcase the group’s signature energy and dynamism across the airport’s terminals. Beyond the three main pieces (titled “Landing,” “New Area,” and “Stamp Rally”), an exclusive comment video is available exclusively on X. All videos remain accessible through August 31 via the campaign website, KANSAI AIRPORTS’ official Instagram, and X.
Visitors participating in the on-site stamp rally get rewarded: use any two participating retailers and claim either an exclusive 新しい学校のリーダーズ sticker or a badge featuring “Sorayann,” Kansai Airport’s official mascot.
The timing aligns perfectly with the group’s momentum. They recently celebrated their 11th anniversary with a successful London solo performance in July 2026 and have upcoming tours through Chile, Brazil, and Mexico in December.
