Godfrost Hosts Dark & Gothic Event with Italian Duo LITTLE BOYS
Tokyo’s industrial metal outfit Godfrost is expanding their signature dark aesthetic beyond the studio for the second installment of their immersive live experience. This October, they’re bringing an international flavor to the proceedings by welcoming Italy’s LITTLE BOYS for a genre-bending evening that proves heavy music has no borders.
Darkness Phobia Vol. 2 takes place October 10, 2026, at Shinsekai in Tokyo’s Nishi-Azabu district. The event continues Godfrost’s vision of merging sonic brutality with visual immersion—a philosophy that made the first Darkness Phobia event in April 2024 such an arresting affair, when they hosted respected act 101A as a special guest.
Who Are LITTLE BOYS?
The Italian rock duo—comprising Laura “Elle” Bertone on guitar and vocals alongside drummer Sergio “Esse” Pirotta—trades in a heady mix of blues, rock ‘n’ roll, grunge, and acid punk, wrapped in vintage sonics and explosive live energy. Their 2023 album Ricordati Che Devi Morire charted domestically in Italy and earned six consecutive weeks of MTV New Zone rotation. More recently, they’ve cultivated serious momentum in Japan, completing a full tour in 2024 and collaborating with local musicians. A 2025 Rolling Stone Japan feature underscores their deepening ties to the Japanese music scene.
Godfrost’s Momentum
Led by guitarist Frost, Godfrost blends heavy guitars, industrial digital textures, aggressive rhythms, melodic female vocals, and gothic aesthetics into a darkly cohesive whole. Their 2024 debut album debuted at number three on Japan’s iTunes metal chart. This year, they’ve inked a deal with long-running American extreme metal label Brutal Records and are preparing the September 18 global release of their new EP Hanging Doll—produced and mixed by Lee Pope, the legendary figure behind Ministry, KMFDM, Killing Joke, Tool, and Korn.
