Ambition Label Celebrates 2nd Anniversary with Two-Day Event
Ambition, the independent Visual Kei label that’s been quietly building momentum in the underground scene, is marking its second anniversary with a pair of milestone events this November. The label has announced two separate showcase events—Ambition-GENESIS- and Ambition-RESONANCE-—each featuring a rotating lineup of established and emerging acts across Tokyo and Kanagawa.
For those unfamiliar with Ambition’s roster, the label has cultivated a reputation for supporting diverse sounds within the Visual Kei spectrum. This anniversary celebration will showcase that eclecticism across back-to-back nights, with some genuinely intriguing artist combinations.
Event Details:
Ambition-GENESIS- takes place November 9th at Akabane ReNY alpha, featuring ASAGI (backed by an all-star support band including guitarist HIRO from La’cryma Christi), 怪人二十面奏, 蛾と蝶, Jupiter, and ゼラ. Doors open at 4 PM; music starts at 4:30 PM.
The following night, Ambition-RESONANCE- moves to Supernova Kawasaki with 浅葱, GUMMY, ゼラ, and NUL., plus the same stellar support musicians. Same time, same energy.
Both events share identical ticket pricing: advance tickets with bonus merchandise run ¥9,000, standard advance ¥6,500, and day-of tickets ¥7,000 (drinks extra). The e+ presale window runs September 17–23, with general sales beginning October 3rd.
The involvement of high-profile musicians like bassist 燿 (Skyscraper Opera) and drummer HIROKI (D) across both nights signals that Ambition is serious about presenting these shows as proper events rather than casual label meetups. Having guitarist ギル (formerly of Vidoll) on the bill adds another layer of credibility.
