SHAZNA Launches VERSUS 2-Man Live Series This November

Legendary Visual Kei act SHAZNA is shaking things up with an ambitious new live concept this autumn. The band has announced a three-part 2-man live series called VERSUS, pairing themselves with a rotating lineup of special guests for intimate, head-to-head performances.

For those newer to the scene, SHAZNA emerged during the golden age of Visual Kei in the 1990s, bringing a theatrical, orchestral sensibility to the genre that set them apart from their contemporaries. Their dramatic instrumentation and Izumi’s distinctive vocals carved out a unique space in VK history, and they’ve remained a respected presence on the live circuit ever since.

The VERSUS events are structured as competitive-style showcases where SHAZNA will face off against three different artists across November and December 2026. The lineup includes ENVii GABRIELLA (Nov. 28), solo artist Arumura Ryutaro (Nov. 29), and the atmospheric Moi dix Mois (Dec. 13). Each night concludes with a collaborative all-artist session—a thrilling wild card moment that should make these events more than just back-to-back performances.

All three shows run the same format: doors open at 4:45 PM with the live starting at 5:30 PM, wrapping around 8 PM. The first two dates are at Dance Hall Shin-Seiki, while the final VERSUS installment moves to Daikanyama UNIT.

Tickets are priced at 8,000 yen (advance) or 9,000 yen (door), with a separate drink charge. A lottery presale runs August 1–9 via eplus, followed by general sales starting September 5 through both eplus and Lawson Ticket. Standard ticketing restrictions apply—four tickets maximum per person.
