Rekishi Announce Acoustic Tour 2026 with New Visuals

Rekishi is trading the electric intensity for an acoustic experience this fall with their first dedicated unplugged tour, Rekishi Acoustic Tour 2026 ~Rice・Capital Transfer・World~. The cryptic subtitle hints at Japan’s deep historical and cultural threads—themes the band has long woven into their theatrical aesthetic.

For those unfamiliar with Rekishi, they’re a Japanese rock outfit known for their visually striking presentation and intricate arrangements that blur the line between progressive rock and avant-garde sensibilities. This acoustic iteration promises to strip back their sound while maintaining that distinctive artistic vision.

The tour kicks off October 30th in Hiroshima and runs through December 16th, spanning ten shows across eight cities. The official artwork—revealing all four members in crisp white attire—sets a deliberately stark, dignified tone, a far cry from the maximalist staging fans might expect. Keyboard player Genki Dasase! Kentoshi (Wataru Wada), guitarist Katou Ero Masaki (Katou Tarou), and percussionist Ushimitsu Jiro Uta (Akihiro Mitsuboshi) make an impressively composed statement in monochrome.
