花少年バディーズ Host 'Hanakaku' Festival with Metronome, DOG inThePWO, Ensoku
Visual Kei collective 花少年バディーズ (Hana Shounen Buddies) are bringing a floral-themed summer spectacle to Tokyo’s historic Asakusa district this August. The band has unveiled the complete timetable for their self-hosted event “Hanakaku” (花博)—a one-night-only festival featuring four distinct acts converging under a single conceptual umbrella.
Taking place on August 2nd, 2026 at Asakusa Hanagekijo, the event spotlights the collaborative power of the Visual Kei underground. Alongside headliners 花少年バディーズ, the lineup includes Metronome, DOG inThePWO, and Ensoku—three acts each bringing their own sonic personality to the showcase.

The doors open at 3:00 PM with performances beginning at 3:30 PM. Metronome kicks things off, followed by DOG inThePWO at 4:30 PM and Ensoku at 5:30 PM. 花少年バディーズ claim the closing slot at 6:30 PM, with a special all-band jam session following the final bow—a treat exclusive to attendees.
Known for their nostalgic melodies, catchy rock arrangements, and deeply narrative-driven lyricism, 花少年バディーズ have built a devoted fanbase through their nuanced blend of delicate vulnerability and explosive stage presence. The Hanakaku event perfectly captures the band’s ethos: bringing together artists of varied aesthetics under a unifying theme.

The venue itself—a modern yet traditionally-inspired space nestled in Asakusa’s atmospheric streets—sets an ideal backdrop for a summer celebration of Visual Kei artistry. To sweeten the experience, attendees wearing or carrying flower-themed items (fresh flowers, artificial blooms, or floral accessories) will receive an exclusive event sticker. One per person, while supplies last—and please, take your flowers home with you.
