Golden Bomber's Utahiroba Shines in BizCrysta TV Campaign

Golden Bomber just landed a fresh gig that’ll have fans smiling: the visual kei air band’s bassist Utahiroba Shun is the face of a new television commercial for IO-Data’s BizCrysta business display monitors, and it’s packed with the kind of cheeky charm the band is known for.

The campaign launched on July 17th across the Kansai region and Ishikawa Prefecture through July 31st, and it’s a follow-up to an earlier commercial for IO-Data’s GigaCrysta gaming monitors. What makes this one special? The entire spot plays to a parody version of Golden Bomber’s massive hit “Onna Onna Shikute” (女々しくて), complete with a fresh arrangement performed by frontman Oniryu-in Sho specifically for the commercial.

In the 15-second spot, Utahiroba trades his usual stage presence for a businessman’s role, demonstrating the monitor’s real-world applications: multi-window workflows, video conferencing, and everyday office tasks—all choreographed to the catchy parody tune. His expressive facial work and energetic performance anchor what could’ve been a forgettable product pitch into something genuinely entertaining.

For those unfamiliar with Golden Bomber, the air band has been one of visual kei’s most unconventional acts since their formation. With their theatrical performances and unabashed use of humor alongside dramatic aesthetics, they’ve carved out a unique niche that refuses to take itself too seriously—which makes them perfect ambassadors for a corporate campaign that wants to feel relatable without sacrificing style.

The full 15-second commercial is available to view online, and it’s the kind of unexpected crossover that reminds us why Golden Bomber’s versatility keeps them relevant across multiple audiences.
