FUR Unleash "GLOSS" MV, Debut Single Drops August
Only three months into their career, FUR are already making waves with their debut single—and the accompanying music video is a stunning statement of intent.
FUR emerged onto the Visual Kei scene in late May 2026, but they’re wasting no time establishing themselves as a force to watch. Their first digital single, “RU-TU-RU,” is on the verge of hitting 100,000 views, and now the band has unveiled the music video for “GLOSS,” the lead track from their upcoming 1st Single, set to drop August 19th.
The concept behind “GLOSS” cuts to the heart of modern alienation: “Hiding a parched heart with shine.” It’s about the masks we wear—the practiced smiles and composed exteriors we maintain while concealing loneliness and vulnerability beneath the surface. In FUR’s hands, this introspective theme becomes something visually and sonically captivating, rendered through their signature dark, glossy aesthetic.

The single debuted during FUR’s first headlining show at Ebisu Liquid Room, so this track already carries weight in the band’s nascent story. According to the band, the opening moments are deliberately striking—they’re encouraging fans to watch repeatedly, all the way through to the final frame.
“GLOSS” arrives as a four-track package: the title track, “DANCE,” plus both songs reimagined in the “GHOST HARMONY” version. There’s clear attention to detail here, suggesting the band takes their artistry seriously.
To celebrate the release, FUR has scheduled in-store events across Tokyo and Osaka in early August, each with unique elements: acoustic cover performances, member ranking votes, bingo giveaways, and photoshoots. A full one-man live, titled 【LIPS】, follows on August 27th at Ikebukuro EDGE.
This is a band building momentum the right way—quality music, thoughtful presentation, and genuine fan engagement. Check out the “GLOSS” music video and explore FUR’s world at their official website, and grab tickets for their upcoming shows via e+.
