After 17 years of refining their craft, Kansai alternative outfit umbrella is ready to step up. The four-piece spatial rock band has just announced a nationwide one-man tour titled “Rainy Days, Quite Right” (雨天、結構。) that kicks off in September 2026, culminating in a landmark show at Osaka’s legendary BIGCAT venue in March 2027—marking their first headline performance at the storied venue.
For those unfamiliar with umbrella, they’re a Kansai-based quartet known for their atmospheric, genre-blending approach to alternative rock. Over the past few years, they’ve become fixtures of the regional live circuit, building a reputation through constant touring and refusal to play it safe creatively. That hunger shows in vocalist Yui’s comments: after years of being praised simply for longevity, the band has grappled with whether they’d grown too comfortable. The result? A renewed commitment to pouring everything into their performances.
The tour spans eight venues across Japan—Nara, Kokura, Fukuoka, Matsuyama, Okayama, Niigata, Toyama, and Shiga—before culminating at BIGCAT on March 18, 2027. This isn’t just a victory lap; guitarist Shuu emphasizes that visiting new territories and delivering live sound to different communities remains the band’s core mission. For a Kansai band, BIGCAT is the ultimate proving ground, and umbrella is approaching it with intentionality rather than assumption.
Ticket sales for the tour dates begin in phases, with presale access starting June 23, 2026. General admission opens July 19 for the first three shows, with rolling dates for subsequent legs. The BIGCAT anniversary show has its own tiered presale system running through October 2026, with general tickets available from November 1.
All shows kick off at 6:00 PM with performances starting at 6:30 PM. Ticket prices are ¥5,000 in advance (¥5,500 day-of), excluding drinks.
