indigo la End Announce Largest Venue Show at K Arena Yokohama 2027
indigo la End is stepping into a major milestone with the announcement of their biggest live show to date. The Tokyo-based band unveiled plans for “Aoki Hanataba vol.4” at K Arena Yokohama on February 23, 2027—a landmark performance marking 17 years since their formation and 15 years since their indie debut.
The announcement came during a livestream celebration on June 24, coinciding with the release of their ninth full-length album, Michita Murasaki (Filled Purple). For Western audiences less familiar with indigo la End, they’re a cornerstone of Japan’s contemporary rock scene, known for their atmospheric soundscapes and poetic lyricism that blur the lines between alternative rock and art-rock territories.

Michita Murasaki packages the band’s 16-year career into 11 tracks, including advance singles “Kagura,” “Whirlpool,” and “Heat Haze.” Rather than favoring either the “blue” or “red” aesthetic typical of their imagery, the album inhabits a purple gradient—a thematic middle ground reflecting its lyrical complexity. The production features acclaimed art direction from Ryo Kawashima and cover model Ayane Kojima.
The label will release a limited vinyl edition on September 23, 2026, following the CD formats (complete production limited edition with exclusive pouch and scarf, live Blu-ray/DVD editions from their 2026 Nippon Budokan shows, and standard CD).
