Crack6 (Sensei/PENICILLIN) Announces 'Silentia' Release
Crack6 is gearing up for a major release with Silentia, the latest project from Sensei, the bassist and founding member of legendary Visual Kei outfit PENICILLIN. This solo venture marks another chapter in Sensei’s prolific creative output beyond his work with the band.
For those unfamiliar with the backstory: PENICILLIN emerged during the height of the ’90s Visual Kei movement and has maintained a dedicated following ever since. Sensei’s Crack6 project represents a distinct creative expression, allowing him to explore sonic territories separate from the main band’s output. Silentia continues that tradition with fresh material designed to showcase a different facet of his artistry.

The release comes packaged with two new tracks: “Silentia” and “真っ赤な太陽” (Makka na Taiyou / Crimson Sun), plus a DVD featuring the “Silentia” music video and live footage. Pre-orders are open now through June 5th, 2026 via the official merch store at ddj.official.ec.
Beyond the album drop, Sensei is hitting the road immediately. The Crack6 TOUR 2026 “Insane Silentia” kicks off June 28th, with stops across Japan’s major cities:
- June 28 – Nishi-Kawaguchi Hearts
- July 4 – Osaka RUIDO
- July 11 – Nagoya ell.SIZE
- July 17–18 – Shibuya REX (two nights)
Additionally, special events titled “Velvet Silentia” are scheduled for early July in Osaka and Nagoya, offering an intimate alternative to the main tour dates.

Tickets for all dates are selling now via eplus.jp/crack6. If you’re curious about the sonic direction of Silentia, a teaser video is available—search for the official Crack6 channel to get a preview before the full release.
This is essential listening for longtime PENICILLIN fans and anyone seeking quality solo work from one of Visual Kei’s most influential musicians. Secure your pre-order before the June 5th deadline, and mark your calendars for the live dates if you’re in Japan this summer.
