COPES Sign to No Big Deal Records, New Mini Album WAO!! Coming September
Japanese rock outfit COPES is stepping up their game with a major-label signing and an ambitious nationwide tour on the horizon. The band has officially joined No Big Deal Records, a roster that already houses some of the country’s most exciting contemporary acts including 04 Limited Sazabys, Wienners, and Neckrogue Talking.
To mark this new chapter, COPES will release their second mini album, WAO!!, on September 9th, 2026. Details about the release are still to come, but expect the same energetic, hook-driven rock sensibility the band has built their reputation on.
The band are also launching a major touring cycle, COPES presents “WAO!! tour”, hitting 13 venues across Japan starting October 2nd. Each show will feature guest acts—lineups to be announced. The tour kicks off in Chiba on October 2nd and wraps up in Tokyo’s Daikanyama on January 23rd, 2027, with stops in major cities including Takamatsu, Kyoto, Kanazawa, Yokohama, Sendai, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Kobe.
