Ryugu-Jo Release EP 'MOTTO' With Live Footage Bundle

Ryugu-Jo is gearing up for a summer release with their new EP MOTTO, arriving in both physical and digital formats. The theatrical act has announced a staggered rollout that gives fans multiple ways to experience the new material—and teases a standout lead single dropping imminently.

The EP arrives digitally on July 15, 2026, with the CD following a week later on July 22. But before that, the band is sharing the single “Hoero!!!” on May 27, and it’s already available for pre-save across streaming platforms. According to the announcement, “Hoero!!!” showcases Ryugu-Jo’s distinctive ability to blend unconventional instrumentation—in this case, upright bass—with deeply melodic, enka-influenced songwriting. The track is framed as an anthem for anyone pushing through a difficult time, offering encouragement when it’s needed most.

For collectors, the CD comes in two editions. The limited production version (¥15,000) is a premium package bundling two Blu-rays containing footage from Ryugu-Jo’s March 1 arena show at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO, plus behind-the-scenes content. The standard edition (¥2,500) offers the CD alone in jewel case format, with unspecified bonus materials for first-run copies.

Pre-orders opened immediately, with retailer-exclusive bonuses ranging from B2 posters and signed bromides to acrylic keychains and clear files—perfect for dedicated fans looking to complete their collection. Sony Music Shop is also offering a special bundle deal: buy multiple copies during early pre-order and receive a seven-photo set.

The band’s momentum doesn’t stop after the summer release either. Ryugu-Jo has already booked a two-day stint at Keio Arena TOKYO on February 20 and 21, 2027, giving fans something substantial to look forward to.
