Jin-Machine Announce New Lineup with Official Member Inductions
Jin-Machine has officially welcomed two longtime support musicians into the fold, marking a significant milestone for the Tokyo-based Visual Kei outfit. On May 9, 2026, during their one-man live “Koko Kara Ribbon” at Nishi-Eifuku JAM, the band announced that guitarists SHIGE. and bassist ふみ (Fumi) would transition from supporting roles to full-time members, solidifying a new chapter for the group.
The newly minted members have also received stage names befitting Jin-Machine’s theatrical aesthetic. SHIGE. is now credited as Vérfaire Silvaine Shige (ヴェルファイア・シルベーヌ・シゲ), while Fumi has become Alphard Alfört Fumiya (アルファード・アルフォート・フミヤ). Alongside frontman featuring16, drummer Rubella Kimura Kaere, the refreshed Jin-Machine lineup is primed to push forward with renewed energy.
Known for their maximalist approach to Visual Kei—blending theatrical presentation with unpredictable song selections and a reputation for humorous stage presence—Jin-Machine has been steadily building a cult following in the Western VK community. Their decision to formalize the support musicians speaks to both the chemistry they’ve developed and the band’s commitment to long-term creative stability.
The band isn’t wasting time celebrating the announcement. Jin-Machine has already pencilled in a two-day one-man live at Shibuya’s Club Malcolm for September 9–10, 2026. The shows promise deep cuts alongside fan favorites, with setlists curated specifically for the one-man format rather than typical festival bookings.
