FEST. INAZUMA 2026 Lineup Revealed: abingdon boys school, T.M.Revolution & More
Shiga Prefecture’s largest outdoor music festival is back with a fresh identity. FEST. INAZUMA 2026—formerly known as Inazuma Rock Fes—has unveiled its first wave of artists for the September event, and the lineup is stacked with established acts and rising stars that will appeal to both mainstream J-pop fans and dedicated Visual Kei followers.
Founded in 2009 by T.M.Revolution frontman Nishikawa Takakoki, who serves as Shiga’s official tourism ambassador, this festival has grown into an institution. Now in its 18th year, FEST. INAZUMA champions Lake Biwa’s environmental conservation while celebrating the region’s music culture. The rebranding signals an exciting evolution for the event, moving toward a more inclusive festival identity while maintaining its core mission.
The confirmed artists span three days (September 19–21, 2026) at the familiar Karasuma Peninsula lawn in Kusatsu, Shiga. Day one features GENERATIONS, T.M.Revolution, Togeashi Togeari, and Momokuro—a powerhouse J-pop lineup. Day two brings Nishikawa’s solo set alongside RIIZE and WANDS. But Visual Kei fans should mark their calendars for day three: abingdon boys school, the legendary metalcore act, headlines alongside Chevon, -Shin-Tenchi-Kaibyaku-Shudan-Zigzag, Novelbright, and MONGOL800.
Abingdon boys school’s appearance is particularly noteworthy—the Tokyo quintet hasn’t lost momentum since their 2004 formation, blending progressive metal with intricate arrangements that bridge mainstream and underground audiences. Their rare festival appearance makes this a must-see moment.
Tickets range from ¥15,000 (single-day GA) to ¥114,000 (three-day VVIP with premium perks). The official presale opened May 8 and runs through May 24 via e-plus. Ticket details and full lineup information are available at fest-inazuma.com.
If you’re planning a Japan trip in September or based in Kansai, FEST. INAZUMA 2026 offers something rare: a major outdoor festival that genuinely balances mainstream appeal with cult-favorite acts. Secure your tickets while presale stock lasts—and pack your sunscreen.
