黒蜜 Complete MASKED Artist Cover Challenge Ahead of Debut
Emerging Visual Kei outfit 黒蜜 (Kuromitsu) has wrapped an ambitious cover marathon that saw vocalist 乃亜 and guitarist 龍一郎 tackle songs from all 55 artists performing at the MASKED 2026 circuit event—and the response has been nothing short of impressive.
The band’s concept revolves around “pure love,” and this project was structured as a daily challenge: 乃亜 posted “singing covers” while 龍一郎 recorded “instrument covers” across social media and video platforms. Both members received direct praise from fellow performers via X, with particular attention paid to 乃亜’s vocal delivery and 龍一郎’s technical prowess on guitar.

For a new band, participating in MASKED—one of Japan’s most prestigious Visual Kei circuit festivals—represents a major milestone. 黒蜜 will make their live debut on May 23rd (DAY 2) at the event, which spans two days across three Shibuya venues.
But their ambition extends far beyond this single performance. The band has announced an audacious 47-prefecture one-man tour titled “Pure Love” (純愛), kicking off June 9th at Shibuya REX. That same night, they’re also hosting their inaugural self-produced three-band live, “Mitsu-kai,” featuring BabyKingdom and ビバラッシュ as co-performers.

The tour spans June through December, touching every region of Japan. Notably, several dates commemorate band member birthdays—SAM’s on September 21st in Nagoya, 龍一郎’s on November 30th in Shizuoka, and 乃亜’s on the tour finale in Okinawa (December 4th).
